5 Things to Do Instead of Going to Prom in Northern Colorado
Schools won't want me to spill the beans on this, but let's face it - not every teen wants to go to prom.
This could be for any given reason: no date, dances are awkward, some kids would rather be antisocial (NOT necessarily a bad thing!), etc. There are probably some more personal reasons unique to each teen, as well.
I didn't go to prom myself - not for any of the reasons above (well okay, I didn't have a date), but mostly because my high school didn't have a prom. Not going to prom really wasn't a huge deal for me, and it doesn't have to be a huge deal for other kids, either.
So if you don't think you'll have as much fun at prom as the girl smiling in the photo above, check out these 5 things to do in Northern Colorado instead of going to prom.
All of these places have more than just laser tag, too - from climbing walls to bumper cars, ropes courses to bowling! The possibilities and fun are endless.
Bonus points if you wear Prom attire!
There's no question Greeley has Fort Collins and Loveland beat when it comes to indoor water parks.
Early on in your non-Prom evening, check out Adventure Island at Greeley's Family FunPlex, and perhaps check out some of the other amenities they have to offer.
Northern Colorado has no shortage of roller and ice rinks, and this is also something you could plan to do early in the day before other non-Prom festivities!
If you're not going to Prom because you're feeling anti-social, you can continue to be anti-social without any shame!
Guys can play unlimited video games at All That and a Bag of Chips in Fort Collins for just $5, and girls play for free!
Sure it's not fun, but...you'll be ahead of the game!
