Authorities Arrest Two Suspects in Severance Bank Robbery
Weld County Sheriff's deputies have arrested two suspects after a bank robbery in Severance. On Friday (May 13) at 4:05 pm, a pair robbed the Colorado East Bank & Trust in Severance. The suspects were driving a white Nissan SUV. They reportedly approached the drive thru window and passed the clerk a note demanding money. The vehicle left the bank after they took an undisclosed amount of money from the clerk.
Deputies with the Weld County Sheriff’s Office made contact with a vehicle matching the description parked in front of a residence a short distance away. A second group of deputies made sure the victims at the bank were safe and unharmed.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects, and is conducting a thorough investigation of the incident. There is no threat to the safety of the public.
