Catch Clint Black Live in Concert at the Lincoln Center March 17
After some time off from the country-music scene, Clint Black is making a comeback – releasing his first full-length album in over a decade, and hitting the road in late February to go on tour across the United States. The country superstar will be coming through Colorado to perform in several cities, making a stop at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins in mid-march.
Dedicated to his late father, Black's new album, On Purpose, is a combination of fourteen very diverse songs, ranging from ballads to tunes that are more upbeat, and even includes a catchy duet with his wife, Lisa Hartman Black. During his time spent out of the spotlight, many major labels tried to sway the singer into recording songs. The problem that Black saw with this however, was that these songs were not his and he did not want to conform to what others in the industry thought he should be. Several years later, but what felt like a long time coming, On Purpose finally gets released – written and produced entirely by Black. This brand new album only adds to the success that Black has had in his career thus far, with 57 singles topping the charts, in addition to selling more than 20 million albums worldwide.
