Over the weekend Larimer County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a burglary in progress call to find Aaron Wailes, who appeared to be intoxicated and high on drugs. Evidence showed that Wailes had broken into a car at a residence on Carnes Drive near east Mulberry in Fort Collins. He took the keys from the vehicle to enter the garage.  Once in, Wailes took his clothes off and put on clothes belonging to the victim. The suspect identified himself as being homeless.

Aaron Wailes (10/15/1993) was transported to the Larimer County Jail and booked on the following allegations:

• 2nd Degree Burglary (Class 3 Felony);

• 1st Degree Criminal Trespass X 2 (Class 5 Felony);

• Criminal Mischief X 2 (Class 3 Misdemeanor); and

• Theft (Class 3 Misdemeanor)

Wailes' bond was set at $10,000. The charges are merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until, and unless, proven guilty.
