I have been there, done that and got the free Ram Welcome tee shirt. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that I showed up to Corbett Hall on move-in day, trying to figure out how I was supposed to get a mini-fridge up three flights of stairs by myself.... so here are my tips on how to do it!

Not to throw my parents under the bus here, they had to go to work that day so they could, you know, pay my tuition -- LOVE YOU, MOM AND DAD! And my mom did show up later that evening with gummy bears (I'll get to that). That didn't make carrying a fridge any easier, though.

Going away to college can be hard, and even scary, but maybe these will help:

Here is a confession: My first semester of college I was certain that I had made a big mistake. I thought that I had chosen the wrong school, I hated all of my classes and felt like an alien when it came to trying to make friends with all these new people. I wished I had gone to school in Denver where many of my other friends had gone, and seemed happy.

But, here I am, three years post-grad from CSU and still living in Fort Collins, and there is no where else I would rather be right now! It became my home.
