A cyclist was cited after causing a crash that left her with serious injuries in north Fort Collins.

The Coloradoan reports Marlene Duran, 54, has been cited for failing to yield to oncoming traffic, causing a crash that caved the car's roof/windshield and left her in critical condition for several days at Medical Center of the Rockies.

Duran was riding south on College Avenue near the Bristlecone Drive intersection, when she crossed lanes and tried to ride through northbound traffic. She was hit by a northbound 1999 Honda sedan, police told The Coloradoan.
