Frontier Airlines have canceled their mascot contest because of suspicious or fraudulent voting activity. Initially, the contest had asked passengers to vote to have their choice of the mascot on one of Frontier's 19 new planes. An elementary school in Aurora was also competing to win the contest.

Yesterday Frontier confirmed to CBS4 they verified the fraudulent activity by using third-party technology and they pulled the contest at 3 pm on Monday.

Frontier said that they were looking at ways to make the contest fair and in the meantime they would provide a $20 voucher to participants who voted in the competition.
