International No Diet Day – May 6th
Today happens to be another one of those "days." You know like every other day, a day to celebrate something common like National Hamburger Day or National Have Sex Day. Today just happens to be a "day" that I find a little more cool than the others. International No Diet Day (INDD)! A day to celebrate body acceptance, including fat acceptance and body shape diversity.
An attempt to end size discrimination, fat shaming, and everything else that made high school so much fun, INDD is “celebrated” every May 6…the day after most food-loving Americans have consumed a child’s body weight in pork burritos and watery Mexican beer (Cinco De Mayo).
In other words, it's not eat what you want day, it's more like sleep with a fat chick day!! Enjoy!
