Johnstown Police Set Up Safe Transaction Space for Online Sales
Have you ever bought anything off of Craigslist or Facebook? I have, plenty of times. In fact, more often than I would like to admit. Mostly all of those transactions have been smooth. There have been a couple over the course of the past few years that I had an uneasy feeling about. I'd send a text to my wife with the address of where I was going and said that if you didn't hear anything from me in a certain amount of time, call me. If I don't answer, then call the police to the location I gave you. Everything turned out fine in the end, however, some people haven't had the same type of luck when dealing with online transactions. If you live in or around Johnstown, you now have a safe place to do your online transactions thanks to the Johnstown Police Department.
There will be a sign in the parking lot of 430 S. Parish Ave to do your transactions in the parking lot which has surveillance at all hours and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the lobby as well.
