I love my Kohl's cash and dread to think that one of the stores closing could possibly be the one I shop at in Loveland right here in Northern Colorado. My fingers are crossed that none of the Colorado locations are on the chopping block.

"Kohl's enters 2016 with high inventory in what has been a highly promotional and competitive retail sector," Citi analyst Paul Lejuez told investors. A press release today from Kohl's said "in 2016, Kohl's will be closing 18 underperforming stores, representing less than one percent of total sales".

I like going to Kohl's for some good deals on shirts and every now and then the occasional piece of kitchen equipment. There are currently 3 Kohl's stores in Northern Colorado located in Loveland, Fort Collins and Greeley. As of yet, there have been no announcements on which stores will close. Information in regards to the 18 locations will be released from Kohl's at the end of March.
