Get ready to pull out your lawn chairs and comfy blankets, because the 2016 lineup for the Lagoon Summer Concert Series has just been announced. With such a wide variety of fantastic local bands set to take the stage this year, it's sure to be the best summer yet!

This free, eight-week series kicks off on June 15, with concerts taking place Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. on the grassy field right behind the Lory Student Center at Colorado State University. Families, students, and people of all ages flock to this beautiful outdoor venue to enjoy great music, dance together as the sun goes down, and be a part of a community tradition that's been going on for over 22 years now. All types of music will be featured throughout the summer, from folk to swing to classic rock, you'll hear it all. Plus, jam out with Little Kids Rock, when they open for the main act each week. Check out the complete lineup below:

In addition to free, live music from eight unique bands, attendees can bring along their own picnic or purchase snacks and drinks from delicious food trucks that will be stationed up on the lawn. Dogs are always welcome, just make sure to keep them on a leash. Parking sports are available in the Student Center lot, the dorm lots or at Moby Arena, but get there early because these areas fill up quick!
