Loveland Police Take Woman into Custody After Car and Foot Chase
Loveland Police arrested a 37-year-old woman for multiple warrants after she led them on a car and foot chase that included her 7-year-old daughter. According to the Coloradoan, Kathleen Marie White fled from authorities after it was discovered she had several felony warrants during a routine traffic stop. White's warrants included escape from felony conviction, theft, forgery as well as other crimes.
White was stopped near the intersection of U.S. Highways 287 and 34, when she took off and led Loveland Police and Colorado State Patrol on a chase that ended in the 2400 block of East 1st Street after authorities implemented "precision immobilization techniques" to stop the vehicle. This is when White exited the car with her 7-year-old daughter and began to flee on foot. They were found not far from their car, and White was taken into custody for the aforementioned warrants, as well as suspicion of vehicular eluding and misdemeanor child abuse. There were no injuries as a result of the chase, and Whites daughter was turned over to Larimer County Child Protective Services.
