Neighbor Calls 911 After Fatal Stabbing in Fort Collins
Late Monday afternoon, Fort Collins Police responded to a report of a stabbing at 715 Parker St. in Fort Collins. The victim was taken to Poudre Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.
The Coloradoan has this story and an interview with the heroic neighbor who called 911. Jeremy Keltner, who is a cardiac tech at PVH, heard the confrontation between the victim, the suspect and a woman being threatened. Keltner went to the victim to see if he could help but the man was unresponsive.
Police are questioning multiple people and are investigating what led up to the death. The name of the deceased and official cause and manner of death will be released by the Larimer County Coroner at a later time. Police do not believe there is any ongoing public safety threat to the community.
