NOCO Rallies for 6-Year-Old Sterling Girl’s Service Dog
There's a little girl in Sterling who really needs a service dog from the nonprofit 4 Paws 4 Ability. 6-year-old Ellie Steimer was diagnosed with cerebral palsy that impacted her speech, fine motor skills, and her her walking muscles. A service dog will help Ellie's stability when she walks and falls and will give her independence. Ellie also has seizures. These highly trained dogs cost $15,000.
The community of Sterling has rallied around the Steimer family with a fundraiser
and online donations are welcome HERE. There's quite a ways to go to reach the goal
for the dog, but the outcome is certainly within reach.
