Northern Colorado Non-Profits Need Your Help to Win An Award
Five Northern Colorado nonprofits are in the running to get a huge donation from First National Bank's 2016 Community First Award program.
The winning nonprofit will receive $10,000, and the runner-up will get $2,500.
Here's where you come in. The winner is determined by the number of votes cast online, here. You can vote for one of the nominees every day until July 27th.
Northern Colorado-based charities up for the award are:
Honor Flight Northern Colorado provides free trips to Washington, D.C., for military veterans to visit some of the memorials in that city.
Pathways, Fort Collins-based that provides hospice and support services to patients and their families.
Front Range Ranch & Rescue - Veterans-helping-veterans. It's a program that rehabilitates abused and abandoned horses and other animals.
A Woman's Place in Greeley providing shelter and assistance to victims of domestic violence.
Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention a Westminster-based program that is dedicated to saving lives by preventing suicide and attempts through counseling and training programs.
