Ryan Hurst
Sons of Anarchy premiered in 2008, on FX, and now five seasons into the show it has become the networks highest rated series ever attracting almost 5 million viewers each week. Just last season, Opie suffered one of the most tragic deaths on TV, but luckily, his real-life counterpart isn't dead, and will actually appear in Loveland on Labor Day weekend.

Sons of Anarchy has killed its fair share of characters over the years, but no death has packed quite the punch as Opie’s grisly murder last season... when he got beaten to death with a lead pipe.

The guy who played Opie on SOA, Ryan Hurst, doesn't get to do that anymore, but he is still alive and well. Hurst's portrayal of Opie, earned him a Satellite Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Hurst also voiced Jedidiah in the Box-Office hit Rango, and is currently playing the part of an autistic savant, Edgar Roy, on the TNT series King and Maxwell.

Hurst will also take some time away from acting to visit Loveland on September 1st for autographs and photos with fans at Thunder in the Rockies.

Thunder in the Rockies Bike Rally will be Aug. 30 through Sept. 2 at Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson, 4250 Byrd Drive, Loveland. Get more details here.
