We feel this needs to be clarified following the great Red Hot Chili Pipers incident of 2018.

Earlier this year, we learned a  lesson in reading things thoroughly when a fan was so eager to scoop up the $40 Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets he found as a Valentine's Day gift, he didn't realize they were so affordable because they weren't for the Chili Peppers. Rather, they were for the Red Hot Chili Pipers, which is actually a bag pipe band. (And yes, he did go to the show anyway.)

There are just so many punny band names you can make from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, dammit!

Note that if you are buying $12 tickets to the Red Not Chili Peppers at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, or any of their other upcoming shows around Colorado. Although, that's a bargain ticket, and while their name would indicate, they are not the Chili Peppers, they are, however, a pretty popular RHCP tribute band. Sure, it's not the same as seeing the actual band, but for $12, it'd probably still be a really fun show for a RHCP fan, so why Not?

And, as far as we know, they are not a bagpipe band.
