Some Colorado Ski Resorts Staying Open Longer Because of More Snow
A big snowstorm left dozens of inches of fresh snow in the mountains late last week and a couple ski resorts will be open longer than originally planned.
Copper Mountain will be open for an extra weekend — April 22-24.
Winter Park also announced that they will keep the Mary Jane section of their resort open for 13 extra days. The Mary Jane side of the mountain will now be open until May 7.
Loveland Ski Area and Arapahoe Basin are typically the last resorts to close for the season, and they haven’t set closing dates yet.
