The Goodguys 15th Colorado Nationals Car Show June 8-10 at the Ranch
June 8th, 9th, and 10th will be every Colorado car lovers dream come true. That is when The Goodguys 15th Colorado Nationals Car Show will bring 1,500 hot rods, custom cars, classics, muscle cars and trucks to the Ranch.
The first two days of the event feature vehicles from 1972 and before, the new "Super Sunday Get-Together" will open the show to owners of late model American or American-powered cars on the last day of the event. This means hobbyists with show cars from 1973 and later can exhibit their cars, try their hand at the AutoCross performance road course and vie for up to 20 Goodguys awards on Sunday.
In addition to admiring the huge field of vintage cars, visitors to the show can browse vendor booths, check out the model car show, watch the timed AutoCross event, shop for auto parts at the swap meet or even buy a used vehicle at the Car Corral. For kids, there will be free model car "make-'n'-take" sessions.
Currently, the Goodguys show draws owners of cars in the traditional pre-1973 category from 24 states, including Florida, California, Delaware and New Jersey. In fact, some participants attend multiple shows on the Goodguys 20-city national schedule.
The Goodguys show is put on by the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association, which promotes and produces automotive events all over the country from its base in Pleasanton, California. The 70,000-member organization was founded in 1983 by hot-rodder Gary Meadors, who still attends many of the shows with his wife Marilyn.
Tickets are available at the event or online at good-guys.com. General admission: $18, kids (7-12): $6, 6 and under free. Spectator parking is free.
