I guess it's not unheard of, and it could not only bring in needed cash but could get commuters geared up for games! What do you think of the idea?

The Reporter-Herald has the story on how the Thompson School District is thinking about selling advertising space on some of their buses. I saw the headline and thought 'Man, that ain't right...', but when you break it down, it's not really that 'tacky' of an idea.

According to Pamela Johnson's story, there are about 10 school districts in Colorado that are already doing this. 'Well, just because those guys are doing it, that does not mean that we should', I can hear folks saying. But when you look at as some easy cash for the district, it's hard to say no.

Plus, the signage could be used to promote upcoming sporting events- getting more people into the stands. That would be good, right?

It is a tough call. 'Extra Cash' vs 'Not Looking Tacky'. The Thompson School Board will be making the decision sometime soon.
