We will lose an hour of precious sleep on Saturday night, but now is the time where night fall starts later and later. More playtime outside!! Daylight Saving Time starts this March 13th, 2016. We will "spring forward" one hour at 2AM this Sunday morning (MST). So when you wake up on Sunday, set all clocks ahead by one hour. Cell phones and computers typically do this automatically.

This is the time of year people start asking "why do we even have daylight saving and time changes?" Discovery News says Benjamin Franklin may have first suggested in a “1784 essay he wrote that adjusting the clocks in the spring could be a good way to save on candles.” Read the whole story behind daylight saving here.

You can always check the official time at Time.gov.
