It feels like I just learned what this whole big "twerking" fad is all about, and we (not me, the cool kids) have already moved onto a new dance (if that's what you want to call it). The new dance is called "yiking," and here is my best effort to explain it...

Just like the Harlem Shake and "twerking," "yiking" has been around for quite some time now. It started in Oakland and recently created a huge impact in cyberspace with hundreds of videos of girls yiking to a sh**ty rap song called “Red Nose” by Sage The Gemini.

I’m not sure how long the song has been existing, however, it has gained momentum. It went viral largely in part to girls adopting it as the new yiking anthem, receiving over a quarter of a million likes on Facebook alone.

So, I have scoured the web, and I have found no definitive instructions on how to yike, but I watched a seven or eight videos of people doing it, and I have come to the conclusion that it is basically twerking, but at a slower pace and basically dry-humping a partner...

Here are a few of the videos I liked best, (after I muted the bad music) mostly because it's big-bootied chicks dancing scandalously...

And now you (kind of) know what yiking is.
